Like Braille Lite 40, Type Lite packs more punch than our Series 2000 note takers — to the tune of 768k RAM and 16mb flash ROM memory, so you can store more than 16,000 pages of Braille information!

The big 40-cell Braille display allows you to read what you’ve written, or imported into your notetaker from diskettes or the Internet.

Unbeatable Braille access to your PC

Together with a screen access program like JAWS for Windows (R), Type Lite becomes a dynamic Grade 2 Braille display for your PC.  You’ll perform all mouse functions, including dragging and dropping, directly from your Braille display!   Toggle between PC and notetaker modes with the flip of a switch, as you manipulate the Windows ‘95 interface.

Of course, no knowledge of Braille is required to operate your Type Lite.   Like Type ‘n Speak, however, it does have a Braille input mode and full Braille translation features.
